Los Angeles Diamond Factory was founded by Mervyn Hahn in 1990 with the objective of giving the customer first rate service with a superior quality product which was until recently only available at fine Jewelry boutiques. We now offer you the finest at the best price wherever you may be.

Mervyn, a first generation U.S. citizen, was born and raised in South Africa in the shadows of the dusty gold and diamond mines. After his formal schooling, he entered the Diamond Cutting Profession and learned the trade in one of South Africa's foremost Diamond Cutting facilities.

We pride ourselves on the ability to serve the public, and provide you, the consumer, with Diamonds and Jewelry at wholesale prices. Most of the time we are able to provide you with Diamonds and Fine Jewelry at more than 50-70% of what you will pay at retail stores. We are able to do this because we manufacture a large amount of our diamonds that we mine at our mines in Brasil, as well as purchase on the open market in Europe, Israel and South Africa.

Our Jewelers and Setters are highly trained and experienced craftsmen. Using their expertise they will craft a piece of jewelry for you that you will be proud of for many years. We can, of course, manufacture the commercial jewelry that is seen in all the discount stores, but feel that we can give you the same item made with precision at a great price.

Incidently, we don't put a Diamond Inventory List on our web site because our inventory changes often and we do not want to mislead you by publishing diamonds that are "unavailable" when you call. Please don't hesitate to contact us with your request.
